At Calm Seas Travel (TÜRSAB member no. 15919) we take the protection of your personal data seriously. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
1. Data We Collect
Through our booking form we collect your full name, email address, phone number, hotel/pickup location, number of participants, tour date and any notes you provide. No other data is requested.
2. How We Use It
Your data is used solely to create and confirm your reservation and to contact you about your tour (meeting time, itinerary changes, etc.).
3. No Sale of Data
We never sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Third Parties
If you pay online, your payment details are processed directly by a licensed payment provider; card details are never stored on our servers. Our drivers and guides receive only the minimum information needed to provide the service (name, pickup location).
5. Retention
We keep your data only for as long as needed to complete your booking and to meet legal record-keeping obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
6. Cookies
Our website uses only cookies necessary for basic functions such as language preference and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
7. Your Rights (KVKK / GDPR)
Under Turkish data protection law (KVKK) and the GDPR you have the right to access, correct or request deletion of your data. Simply send your request to info@calmseas.com.tr and we will respond promptly.
